Mixed with peat moss and fertilizer, nursery sand is used for planting and re-potting trees, shrubs, and other plants. Shaw Resources produces a finely graded nursery sand that is preferred by many commercial growers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec. It is available in either 25kg or 40kg (55lb or 88lb) bags, in bulk bags (1.4 tonne/1.5 ton) or loose bulk.
